Sabel Dieng was born in Ben Tally (Dakar), the daughter of the late singer Ndiouga Dieng of the Orchestra Baobab of Senegal.

As a teenager, she became fascinated with the trade of sales. After obtaining her baccalaureate, she continued her graduate studies in Casablanca (Morocco).

During her Moroccan stay, she begins to furnish the time of her musical passion. She follows guitar lessons at home and alongside her studies, she meets a group of Senegalese dancers, of which she becomes the vocal lead.

Management assistant in a Senegalese company, in 2016, she joined the staff of her brother the singer Pama Dieng as a salesperson.

From time to time, she attends rehearsals for her group and gradually begins to perform the choirs. Finally she joined the group as a chorister.

On November 10, 2017, on the anniversary of the death of her father, she released a tribute video, taking up the masterpiece of the disappeared "Dee mo Woor", which was quickly acclaimed by critics.

In 2018, Sabel recorded 3 tracks featuring with artist Sirifo Kouyaté, on his international album Silakadian, notably the titles "Sili Kandian" "Mama" and "Diali".

To mark International Women's Rights Day the same year, she released another video "Mama don’t cry", paying tribute to all women in the world and especially to her mother.

On November 26, 2018, Sabel released his single "Ndioukeul Sa Goor" which revealed it to the general Senegalese public. Following this great success, she went on an international tour to Casablanca and Marakech in February 2019. She was chosen for the tenth edition of the Univers de Femme program on Guinean Radio Television (RTG) on March 29, 2019 in Conakry.
During the African Cup in June 2019, she was a single `` Gaindé '' dedicated to lions who unfortunately fail in the final.

In September 2019, On "Tani mbeuguel", Sabel Dieng has a unique experience: integrating the sound of sabar (Senegalese percussion) and the musicality of Wolof (Senegalese language), in a melody imbued with the soukous and ndombolo vibes.
In March 2020, "Mat Nga Djiguene" was released; a single where she pays tribute to women for International Women's Rights Day.
